Professional Guardianship Services

· The incapacitated individual receives help from a professional guardian that is appointed to make decisions about their financial and/or personal affairs as determined by the court.

· All professional guardians are bonded, passed background checks and an exam. 

· All professional guardians are represented by an attorney.

· All fees are paid after a Petition for the Guardian Fees has been approved by the court.

· Guardians make frequent visits to monitor the individual’s care, coordinate medical care and services as well as  provide consent for medical treatment.

· Guardians make financial management decisions and refer to other professionals with special expertise as needed.
